The Military Widows Association of Nigeria, today, May 23rd, 2023 has crowned the Iyaloja General of Nigeria, Chief Mrs. Folasade Tinubu-Ojo as the Grand Matron of the association.
While decorating Iyaloja General, the spokesperson of the group remarked that, on several occasions in the past when there was cause to run to Iyaloja General for help, She always received them with her arms wide open, She also commended Chief Mrs. Folasade Tinubu-Ojo for being compassionate and supportive to the widows of Nigeria’s fallen Heroes.

She said there is no better person who cared as much as Iyaloja General about the well-being of the members of MiWA ( Military Widows Association of Nigeria); hence the need to honour her with the most prestigious title; the Grand Matron.
In a returned gesture, the Iyaloja General, Chief Mrs Folasade Tinubu-Ojo promised to be steadfast and unwavering at lending her helping hands and extending her charitable deeds to MiWA whenever the need arises, she thanked the representatives of MiwA for the honour bestowed on her.
Likewise, Tinubu Shettima Independent Campaign Diaspora Initiative, Texas, USA (TSICDIT) also conferred an award of excellence on Chief Mrs. Folasade Tinubu-Ojo for her efforts and the vital roles she played during campaign window that saw His Excellencies, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged victorious as the governor of Lagos state and the President of the federal Republic of Nigeria respectively.
