Ahead of 2023 general election, the Idoma community paid a solidarity visit to the office of the Iyaloja General of Nigeria, Chief Mrs Folashade Tinubu-Ojo at her Ikeja office on Friday November 25th, 2022.
According to the leader of the Idoma Community in Lagos, their visit is to reassure Iyaloja of their maximum support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima in the forthcoming general election and to also assure Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and his deputy Dr. Obafemi Hamzat of their maximum support in their re-election bid.
The leader of the group thanked Iyaloja General for always supporting the Idoma community in Lagos and he said the APC leader and the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu made it possible for all tribes to thrive in Lagos Nigeria, his progressive leadership style is enough to convince us to pledge our allegiance to his and APC across the board; he added.
In her remark, Chief Mrs Folashade Tinubu-Ojo thanked the great idomites for their visit and also promise not to relent in ensuring that every tribe is carried along in various programs aimed at making life better for Lagosians and every other community/tribes that ply their trades in Lagos.
Iyaloja General also urged the Idomites to sensitize their association on the need to get their permanent voters card ready for the upcoming task, she urged her guest to ensure that they cast their votes for all APC candidates from top to bottom so that Nigeria will become a better country for us all.
