The Executive Chairman of Odeda LG, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo kicks off the activities of the first working day of the new year, 2022 with prayers alongside the members of staff of Odeda LG at the council’s secretariat, Odeda town, Ogun state.
After the prayer session, the chairman officially declared open the activities of the 2022 calendar year in Odeda LG, and the chairman seized the opportunity to charge every department to be up and doing and to also ensure that their scorecards for the new year are better than the previous ones, She particularly emphasized on making concerted efforts towards improving the IGR of the local government.
The Council Boss, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo also tasked all the departmental heads to work hand-in-hand with one another so that we can have enviable result-oriented progress in the new year.
Present at the first working day prayer and admonition session are; the vice-chairman, Hon. Yaya Adigun, The HOLGA, Miss Adeniji, all the departmental heads, NULGE executives, and members of staff of the council secretariat, etc.
The NULGE chairman, Mr. Sholanke thanked the chairman for all the giant strides she has been taken in the local government, more so the Christmas gifts extended to all workers in the council; according to him, what the chairman did during the festive period was unprecedented, and her kind gestures are well appreciated.
The NULGE chairman however solicited that the chairman should not relent on her good welfare programs for all the staff in the local government.
In her closing remarks, the chairman urged everyone to embrace love, peace, and unity among themselves in other to ensure a smooth running administration in the local government.
