The Executive Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo joined her maternal family; the Malomo Adepekun Oluyalo of Otileta Ruling House, Owu Kingdom, Abeokuta to pay a condolence visit to Owu traditional chiefs over the transition of Olowu of Owu Kingdom; Oba Dr. Olusanya Adegboyega Dosunmu Amororo II (Amororo Ruling House) who joined his ancestors on December 11th, 2021.
The representatives of the Otileta Ruling House prayed for the soul of the departed King and also for the entire Owu kingdom that the Almighty God would grant the deceased king eternal rest. The Family also pray that the Owu Kingdom will continue to enjoy peace, love, and harmony in the kingdom
During the visit of the Malomo Adepekun Oluyalo of Otileta Ruling House, Owu Kingdom, Abeokuta to the high chiefs, it was reaffirmed to them by the high chiefs that the Otileta Ruling House is next in line to produce the next Olowu of Owu Kingdom. They urged the family to do the needful when the selection process eventual begins
In response, the family spokesperson, Mr. Nureni Musa assured the chiefs and the kingmakers that a judicious approach shall be employed during the selection process.
In her remarks, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo who is also a member of the Otileta ruling house of Owu kingdom thanked the chiefs and the elders for their wealth of wisdom and also assured them that none of their advice shall be neglected.
