The State Chairman Riders and Owners of Tricycle Organization ROTO, Ismail Olanrewaju Yusuf (MonYahShau) has charged all motorists to drive safe and adhere strictly to all road and safety rules during this festive season and beyond.
He gave this advise during an interview session with Ogun State Crusaders crew at ROTO State Secretariat, Abeokuta.
” From Thursday 23rd of December there will be high influx of vehicles and human activities during this festive season thereby exposing road users to danger of reckless drivers,”Monyashau said.
He stated that it is the duty of drivers and road users to assume that everyone are insane drivers while driving thereby exercising more caution on the road.
He emphasized that tricycle operators in particular should be more careful by avoiding highways where they’re prohibited from riding and should avoid over speeding and over loading.
He also used the medium to remind the ticketers not to collect ticket fees from female operators and physically challenged operators.
He wishes all motorists and road users a safe stay and merry Christmas and Happy New year in advance.
