The Presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu continued his Nation-wide consultation as He took the moving train to Ogun State where he sought the consent and blessings of all the traditional rulers in Ogun State towards the actualization of his 2023 presidential bid.
A close ally to Asiwaju, and a prominent leader of the APC Lagos State Chapter, Cardinal James Omolaja Odumbaku (Widely known as Baba-Eto) joined the rest of the GAC as they all stood by their friend in his quest to become the president of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Asiwaju began the tour on Saturday, February 12th, 2022 and rounded off on Sunday 13th of February 14, 2022 at the palace of the Akarigbo of Remo-land’s palace where all the traditional rulers under the leadership of HRM Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi who is the Chairman of the Ogun state Council of Obas.
Asiwaju declared his ambition to the Obas, and in his remarks, He informed the Obas that he already declared his ambition to the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, President Muhammad Buhari that he would like to step into his shoes as soon as his tenure ends in 2023.
Asiwaju further said that, he has been able to pass his message across to Mr. President without stepping on his toes.
The Obas were glad to receive the news as the Akarigbo and some of the Obas offered prayers to the almighty to enthrone Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria.
Asiwaju in his closing remarks thanked all his friends and the GAC, the support groups like ABAT, SWAGA & BAT PROJECT’23 for their massive support throughout his tour round Ogun State.
He specially thanked all the traditional rulers for their warmth receptions and promise not to let Nigeria down.
