The entire youth and APC family, of Obantoko ward, Odeda local government led by Comrade Timothy Odedina and his Vice Organized a candle night procession in remembrance and as a symbol of last respect for the soul of Late Mrs. Esther Alimi who passed away on the 17th of January 2022 after a brief illness.
Family and loved ones recounted their fond moments with the deceased as they all acknowledged that she was known to be hardworking and friendly throughout her impactful lifetime.
The deceased who was an active member of APC Ward 7, Obantoko died on the 17th of January 2022 and was later buried with the support from notable leaders like Hon. Folasade Adeyemo, Hon. Daisi Elemide and Hon. Majekodunmi Olanrewaju.
Late Mrs. Esther Alimi who was survived by Parents, husband and five (5) children left a huge vacuum to be filled by family, friends and loved ones.
Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman of Odeda local government, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo, Leader of the House, Hon. Rotimi Adeyemi and the local government party secretary Alhaji Muftau Oguntola also joined the youths at the residents of the deceased to commiserate with the family as well.
The Executive Chairman of Odeda local government, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo once more proved why she was dubbed “Chairman of the People” by showing an example worthy of emulation by extending a helping hand to the family left behind by the deceased.
The Chairman decided to help the husband of Late Esther Alimi Secure an appointment with the State Government in order for him to be able to provide for his family.
Hon, Folasade Adeyemo has also decided to help with the children education to the best of her ability, and she also provided the family with food items and cash gifts as a relief package for them in this trying time.
Finally, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo called on well-meaning individuals within and outside the APC family to support the deceased family in whatever way they can in this trying period while she prayed for the repose of the deceased soul, she equally prayed that Odeda will never witness such a sorrowful death anymore.
