In a bid to support the Food Self-Sufficiency Agenda of the federal government of Nigeria, Rt.Hon.Satomi Ahmad FNSE has flagged off Farmers-Support program at Gongulong in Jere Constituency, in Borno State.
There are fifty (50) beneficiaries from Tuba and Gongulong who get sprayer and one liter of Pesticides and Insecticides each.
This was done in a bid to align with one of the 10 Cardinal objectives of His Excellency Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum MFR, the Executive Governor of Borno State.
A new batch of beneficiaries shall be getting their farm input support in the next few days.
Zulum also promised to assist all the farmers in Jere throughout the farming season and charged them for proper utilization of the gesture.
Beneficiaries thanked Governor Zulum and Engineer Satomi for their kind gesture and in return pledged their allegiance and support to the dou throughout their political career.
